Hello to the Moon!

This animated, interactive storybook iPad app makes kids everywhere look forward to bedtime. The story shares how the moon can make us feel connected to other people, even when they are far away from us.

 

Each word is highlighted as it is spoken to assist early readers. On every page, a small "trigger" animation begins only after the lines from the story are read.... tap that spot on the screen to activate fun animations and sound effects.

 

Vivid imagery, a story about human connectedness, and a playful spirit make this app a sweet bedtime story for kids.

 

Available for free download in Apple's App Store. The app was created using Twixl Publisher’s InDesign Plug-in, for part of a presentation on digital publishing held in NYC in 2012.
