Enhanced eBooks and Apps for Books

The ability to add video and interactivity makes digital an excellent choice for children's books, instructional books, text books, and cookbooks. Photo books are also naturals for the iPad: photography looks absolutely stunning on the iPad's high-definition screen.

 

Due to the recent enhancement of the iBooks reader app and the arrival of iBooks Author, Apple has forced a shift towards ePub and away from simple book-like apps. The latest version of iBooks utilizes ePub3 technology, and is capable of quite a bit of interactivity. All titles appear within the app’s virtual bookcase.
